PSYCHOLOGY: One could say that Wesker is a sociopath and by most definitions, he is. However, he is not insane. Should a telepath or other mind reader get into his head, his thoughts are ordered and intelligent. Wesker can and does kill, although it is not a driven homocidal urge as is evidenced when he sets Alexia on Chris instead of demanding the right to kill the man himself despite how much he says he hates Chris. In the end, Wesker is the worst sort of evil to come up again: a thinking and logical man that can wait when necessary for events to go in his favour.

Wesker claims he has no humanity, stated in just those words in his report. He is not human. Should he be tested by someone or by some means, he has some human DNA, but the T-virus has rewritten his DNA to the point that they are only markers. He is, in effect, an entirely new species. Quite often he is called a Tyrant when he truly is not. He is a B.O.W. (Bio-Organic Weapon), but not a Tyrant. I suppose the best way to put it would be Tyrant-class. This lack of humanity does not mean that he doesn't feel emotion. He does. He merely controls it very well and often comes off as cold and uncaring. Most often that emotion is anger unfortunately. Given his mutation, Wesker is prone to violence when pushed, all too willing to shoot or maim a person to gain his own ends. Very little scares Wesker. It's difficult to intimidate a man who supposedly can't die.

This isn't to say that Wesker won't help people, but he will only do so for his own reasons or gains. He's not the sort to do good deeds out of some version of kindness of the heart. It simply isn't in him. Wesker will never be a 'good guy'. He tends to do what benefits him and his own goals best and always will. He can and does use people as the opportunity presents itself.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Wesker stands about six feet tall, 186 lbs. He has blond hair which is always kept cut short and wears his trademark black sunglasses. Given the time era of post-Umbrella Chronicles and RE4, he generally wears black clothing. If someone saw him in a crowd, Albert Wesker wouldn't really stand out. He's not exceptionally handsome or ugly. He's midrange in that. The only outstanding feature is his eyes which he keeps covered with his sunglasses. Wesker has eyes like a Gila monster due to his speed. They see more and better than human eyes which couldn't rightly track everything around him or what he's doing. He'd end up running into walls. His mutated eyes slow down what he sees and allows him to track what's going on as well as react to it. There is also a luminescent property to them, glowing in the darkness. This does complicate hiding at times. No one is quite sure what causes the light flares in the pupils, be it emotion based or simply gathering of light in to enable him to see better. If Wesker knows, he isn't saying.

HISTORICAL DATA: At the age of seventeen (1986), prodigy Albery Wesker went to work for the Umbrella Corporation as a researcher, specializing in genetic research. He chose that particular company over all others due to its Bio-Organic Weapons program. On the outside, the company was nothing more than the standard pharmacutical developer and producer, one that the people held in good standing. On 31 Jul 87, a year later, Albert Wesker went to Management Training Facility with William Birkin, who would become for the next years his partner-in-crime, rival, and general cohort. Birkin was younger than Wesker, one might say easily led by the forceful and ambitious young Wesker, or it could have easily been the other way around.

The lab was given to these two teenagers, placed in the hands of two people barely legal to drive. Quite a few people probably had to wonder if Spencer, then president of Umbrella, had lost his mind.

The virus being researched then was the 'Ebora', one that killed a victim so quickly that there was no time to infect anyone else. That just wouldn't do. Bioweapon manufacturing was illegal, of course, but that didn't stop them. Birkin wanted merely to study the virus though. Wesker wanted to make it better, stronger. This would, in time, become the T-virus. It is also at this time that Wesker meets 'the woman', a person they began experimenting on at November 10, 1967. She was still alive but her mind... who knew what was in there.

Three years later, news began circulating that a ten year old girl named Alexia Ashford was sent to take over the Artic facility for Umbrella. For years, Wesker finds himself dogged by older researchers mentioning that things were better under Edward Ashford, a man who died after Umbrella was founded, his son establishing the Arctic Facility. Because everyone holds Alexia in such high regard, Birkin begins to fail more and more, his confidence failing hard which in turn affects Wesker and their production of the T-Virus. At this point, they have a 90% kill rate with theirs, but Spencer demands a hundred percent.

After thirteen years of work and the T-Virus reaching its final stage, Wesker and Birkin were ordered to kill Marcus and steal the research by Spencer himself. In time, this evolves to the G-Virus with the Nemesis sample on 'the woman'. It was in 1991 that Wesker, beginning to grow warier of Spencer, shifted departments to Umbrella's Intelligence Bureau. In time, he would head up S.T.A.R.S. By 1996, he was head of the Alpha Team of the S.T.A.R.S. for Raccoon City, a city that sat atop an underground Umbrella facility. (games pick up here)

In the first, murders occur near a mansion that is the entrance of one of the mansions, obviously related to the T-Virus, at least to Wesker. His orders were simple: Dispatch S.T.A.R.S. to the mansion, dispose of them, then report the situation to headquarters so that their combat with the B.O.W. could be used for data analysis. He sends in the Bravo team and later takes in the Alpha one to see what happened to the first. Of the eleven, five live. In the end, Wesker appears to die at the hands of the Tyrant, the very creature he had been there to record data on.

This, of course, isn't what really happens. Beforehand, Wesker had injected himself with Birkin's T-Virus and needed to fake his death to appear dead to the Umbrella company. He believed that if he did, it would enable him to defeat and take over Umbrella from the outside. Unfortunately, he does die temporarily and the Tyrant is defeated, losing him all his data.

Two months later, he and Ada Wong are working together against Umbrella, his failure with the Tyrant leading him to a burning hatred of Chris Redfield. This shows up again where he reveals himself to still be alive and with the 'Hive/Host Capture Force' where he meets up with Claire, ending in him nearly getting to kill Chris and then sicing Alexia on him. On the fire keeps them apart, Wesker vowing to later correct that mistake.

In RE4, he is found to be the one giving Ada Wong her orders, having taken over Umbrella in the meanwhile after it fell and has started raising it back up.

COMBAT DATA COLLECTED:
Speed/Reflexes - Wesker is damned fast, quick enough to be a blur to human eyes.

Eyes- Wesker has eyes like a Gila monster. This is due to his speed. They see more and better than human eyes which couldn't rightly track everything around him or what he's doing. He'd end up running into walls. His mutated eyes slow down what he sees and allows him to track what's going on as well as react to it, seeing roughly a hundred frames per second versus what humans do. In his eyesight, think like the Matrix slowed down scenes. He can see the bullet as it passes him and react. There is also a luminescent property to them, glowing in the darkness which is why he wears his sunglasses at all times. While this all sounds great and good, he's vunerable to bright lights. Something like a flash grenade or the like would blind him for longer than it would others.

Damage/strength - Chris Redfield drops a large amount of heavy pipes on Wesker at one point, the man getting up after a few minutes although he staggers a bit and is stunned. There isn't much of a mark on him though. Someone like Wolverine or Cloud could hurt him, but probably what stops or stuns a human isn't going to Wesker. At another point, Chris smashes a pipe against Wesker's arm which dents. He's not easy to just punch and knock down. He'll probably punch back and do more damage. Wesker is very strong and capable of doing some real damage. Wesker can jump upwards of a story at a time.

Regeneration - Wesker can and does regenerate. He gets burned badly in Code Veronica, and is fine a few minutes later.
